Terms of Service

These terms define your rights and responsibilities when using Inferix services, including repositories, storage, billing, and community features.

Last updated: May 19, 2026.

1. Scope and acceptance

These Terms govern access to and use of Inferix products and services, including hosted repositories, storage, community features, compute services, and APIs. By using Inferix, you agree to these Terms and related policies (including Privacy and Acceptable Use).

2. Accounts, eligibility, and security

You are responsible for your account credentials, API keys, and all activity under your account or organization workspace. You must provide accurate registration information and maintain account security. You must promptly notify Inferix of unauthorized access or security events.

3. Service plans, subscriptions, and billing

Inferix offers free and paid plans. Paid plans may include recurring subscriptions, prepaid credits, or usage-based charges. You authorize recurring charges for active subscriptions and usage charges based on metered consumption. Fees are non-refundable unless required by law or explicitly stated in a separate refund policy.

4. Compute, storage, and usage limits

Usage limits, quotas, and feature availability vary by plan. Inferix may enforce fair-use limits, rate limits, storage caps, and anti-abuse controls. We may suspend or throttle services to protect platform integrity, comply with law, or respond to abuse, fraud, or security incidents.

5. User content and licenses

You retain ownership of content you upload. You grant Inferix a limited, worldwide license to host, process, cache, reproduce, and display your content as needed to operate, secure, and improve the service. For public content, you grant permission to display and distribute that content in accordance with selected visibility and repository settings.

6. Prohibited conduct

You may not use Inferix for unlawful activity, malware distribution, abusive automation, platform attacks, credential theft, rights infringement, or violations of export/sanctions laws. You may not attempt unauthorized access, interfere with service operation, or circumvent controls and quotas.

7. Third-party services

Inferix may integrate with third-party providers (for example payments, hosting, email, observability). Third-party terms may apply to those services. Inferix is not responsible for external services beyond obligations required by law and contractual commitments.

8. Platform availability and disclaimers

Inferix services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability, specific uptime, or compatibility in all environments unless explicitly stated in a separate enterprise agreement.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Inferix and its affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of revenue, profits, data, goodwill, or business interruption. Aggregate liability is limited to the fees paid by you to Inferix in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Inferix, its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from claims, liabilities, damages, and costs (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your content, your use of the service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

11. Enforcement and suspension

Inferix may investigate violations and take action, including content removal, access restrictions, suspension, or account termination. We may preserve and disclose information where required by law, court order, or to protect users, partners, and platform security.

12. Data handling, backups, and deletion

You are responsible for maintaining backups of your critical content unless a separate backup commitment is expressly provided in writing. Upon termination, content may be deleted after retention windows and backup lifecycle periods required for operations, security, and compliance.

13. Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by applicable law specified in your service agreement or, absent a separate agreement, by the governing law stated on the legal contact page. Any dispute process, venue, arbitration terms, or class-action waiver terms are governed by the legal framework identified for your account jurisdiction and service agreement.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted with an updated effective date. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of revised Terms.
